You know, it is not everyday a person like me gets to declare a significant paradigm shift, much less about diabetes …or some other medical illness.
You do not understand what a paradigm change is? Well, if I said events and titles such as: Gutenberg, Copernicus, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Louis Pasteur, and Werner von Braun …you’d probably suspect a paradigm change is important change in thinking…and you’d be right.
Inside, he ruined the frequent misconception so a lot people have about mathematics.
We have a tendency to think technological advancement is ushered in by a slow line upon line, piece by piece growth of idea over time.
Thomas Kuhn demonstrated that, historically, scientific advancement happens in jumps …and is always faced by a battle having an “old guard.” The outdated scientific theorists hold tenaciously for their (usually tenured or rewarding) rankings and array themselves against the new discovery, trying to push it off.
However, the new protector – that the new discoverers, inventors, explorers- chooses the newest discoveries and improvements it on the thinking of this older institution. Rarely is that the older guard converted into the new patterns of thinking (new discovery). They simply die off. The new place wins by attrition …fact…and perseverance.
Diabetes is on the front border of this a paradigm change.
That’s double the amount of individuals with diabetes only as 1991 alone.
It’s estimated over 40 million Americans could be categorized as “pre-diabetes” meaning that they have blood glucose levels greater than normal but under the type 2 identification level which helps identify diabetes.
By anyone’s standard that’s pandemic (goes much beyond outbreak proportions). So much investment, grief and regret…and unnecessary.
Diabetes: A manifestation of our civilization.
We’re a quick food, sedentary, “get-our-fix-now” production. Over one in every 2 Americans weigh too much. We do not work out as we ought to. All of which influences glucose levels. Diabetes is a life threatening disorder…and we have got the lifestyle.
Diabetes: The major statement
Nevertheless, diabetes is an illness which may be switched around. Glyconutrition is the newest discovery vibration the scientific and medical worlds. You will find four Nobel Prizes and MIT testifying to how glycobiology is just one of those 10 technologies/discoveries that will form our planet.
Glyconutrition is much more than only a promising new treatment for diabetes. Many are beginning to whisper “VICTORY” over diabetes in their method of disorder.
Whether that’s true, time will tell.
Oh no… The dilemma isn’t a collapse of glyconutrition. It’s the building block VITAL to fit cellular function and it’s very crucial to the proper performance of this IMMUNE system. Those are known truth.
Diabetes is an autoimmune disorder meaning, your own body’s immune system becomes misguided messages. Therefore, it begins attacking the islet cells from the pancreas that produces insulin. Voila. . .diabetes!
However, the issue is NOT if glyconutrition works. Anecdotal evidence (marketplace buzz!)) Is overwhelming in favour of glyconutritional treatment for diabetes. As is the expert study.
No…the true science really isn’t the issue. The issue is that the old guard. Thomas Kuhn’s book is nearly prophetic. The old guard, the pharmaceutical and medical establishment, just can not take the findings of (their own) study… “What! A nutritional supplement… to take care of diabetes?” “Hogwash,” you can almost hear them say.
In fact, I wish that they had been saying that out loud. The fact is, they simply ignore the matter. Like countless bucks…uh…a $132 billion bucks. All the money (read, “company”) fades if glyconutrition proceeds to “pan out” exactly the method by which in which the study shows us.
However, glyconutrition becomes shunned as a formal diabetes therapy strategy.
“Glycobiology has achieved significant breakthroughs in the medical field, primarily by fixing what might be the biggest plague in healthcare now — auto-immune ailments. Multiple sclerosis, diabetes, arthritis, Crohn’s disease and colitis are only a couple of those ailments.”
Additionally, mannose (just one glyconutrient) may trigger the pancreas to make more insulin “…thus lowering the total amount of insulin required to control this disorder.”
Fact Check: The lives of 1 out of every 3 Americans are influenced directly by diabetes and there’s a $132 billion dollar diabetes epidemic running amuck in our center. I sure hope this paradigm change – glyconutrition – has less resistance by the “powers that be” (the “old guard”), and has given its rightful place in the sun…soon.
However, with all the money being made from the pharmaceuticals as well as their medication, and the simplistic perspective of disorder therapy (“Blast that disorder with drugs and technology!”)
The old guard will strike and dismiss the discovery – possibly, the biggest in medical history more than a hundred years – also, a la Kuhn, they will just go the way of the Dodo Bird and diabetes therapy is going to get its due.
